The art of subtext led to a love of design. Just as subtext communicates, so does design. Design is more than just a poster on the wall or a cover of a magazine. It’s the research and “subtextual” decisions that occurred before the product reached your hands. Design requires an understanding of the audience and the client and creating a body of work that can effectively communicate an idea better than the client could have dreamed. Design takes subtext and makes it a reality.

I approach design as a way to create a better world -- to push for a more understanding, more compassionate world. I work to create effective design work through unique and lively avenues of creative conception, art direction, and design work. Design is ever-evolving and as a designer, I am as well -- constantly honing my craft or discovering new avenues of design.
